Job Summary:
We’re on the hunt for a tenacious, relationship-driven Sales Talent Acquisition Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, sales-oriented environment. Your mission: source, attract, and close top-performing Account Executives and sales professionals for our Wholesale Mortgage Lending division. You're not just filling roles—you’re bringing in the future of Lendz. This isn’t your average recruiting role. It’s part headhunter, part hype machine, part strategic partner.
This is a non-exempt role with a competitive compensation structure, dependent on candidate experience.
Responsibilities:
- Own the recruitment lifecycle for Account Executives and wholesale sales professionals—from sourcing to offer.
- Proactively evangelize the Lendz brand to prospective candidates through cold outreach (calls, emails, texts, LinkedIn) and personal connections.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of talent by attending industry events, visiting mortgage tradeshows, and nurturing long-term relationships.
- Leverage tools, data, and intuition to identify high-potential candidates and convert them into enthusiastic hires.
- Collaborate with leadership to understand hiring needs and sales goals, adjusting strategies to match business demands.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience that reflects our people-first values.
Qualifications:
- Proven success recruiting for sales roles, in mortgage or lending a plus!
- A go-getter mindset—you chase leads, follow up relentlessly, and close with confidence.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills—you make people want to join you.
- Experience using ATS systems, CRM tools, and recruitment platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.).
- Willingness to travel to tradeshows and key markets to meet top talent and expand your network.
- Resilience, positivity, and a knack for sales psychology—you know how to pitch and when to pivot.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and demonstrate a sense of urgency as applicable
- Demonstrates good judgment and decision-making skills
