Walker Sands is seeking a Contract Recruiter to help us identify and attract top talent across our Boston, Chicago, and Seattle offices. In this role, you’ll lead hiring efforts across both our service teams and corporate functions, as well as oversee hiring for our intern program, playing a key role in shaping our growing team. A passion for diversity, creative recruiting strategies, and employer branding will be essential for success.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for roles across our U.S. offices (Boston, Chicago, Seattle).
  • Partner closely with leadership and hiring managers to develop and execute strategic hiring plans.
  • Craft compelling job postings and leverage social media and other channels to attract top talent.
  • Advocate for Walker Sands’ brand by sharing our story, values, and service offerings with candidates.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with talent, developing an ongoing pipeline for future hiring needs.
  • Lead a best-in-class candidate experience, from initial outreach to offer.
  • Ensure structured feedback and assessments are completed throughout the hiring process.
  • Develop competitive offers and negotiate within salary budgets.

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
  • Experience using Greenhouse or other applicant tracking systems.
  • Proven ability to close candidates and negotiate compensation packages.
  • Strong stakeholder management and consultative recruiting skills.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proactive and results-driven approach to recruiting.

Contract Details:

  • Contract Dates: June 1, 2025 - October 15, 2025
  • Location: Chicago - Hybrid
  • Rate: $4,500 - $6,400 a month
