About the Role:

As a Product Marketing Manager, Solutions and Industry, at Motive, you will contribute to our industry product marketing strategy, develop differentiated messaging around Motive’s industry value propositions, manage the customer conversion funnel, and collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales and Product teams. You will use your entrepreneurial experience to launch and support various industry Go To Market Initiatives, explore new sales opportunities, and contribute to our business growth. You are an exceptional writer and storyteller, who puts the customer in the center of our messaging. You thrive on pace, can juggle multiple projects while hitting tight deadlines, and lean heavily on data to drive decision making.

What You'll Do:
  • Develop differentiated product positioning and messaging that supports the unique Motive value proposition across various industries. 
  • Partner with product and other Product Marketers to incorporate new products and platform capabilities into our industry messaging. 
  • Stay on top of industry trends for your target industries and help teams throughout Marketing, Sales, and Product incorporate these insights into their strategies. 
  • Create, maintain and manage various marketing assets such presentations, whitepapers, product demo scripts, datasheets, case studies, solution briefs, blogs, and social media posts.
  • Collaborate with other product marketers and campaign marketing teams to bring the messaging to life in campaigns, with results that drive up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and alternative solutions, working closely with Motive’s Competitive Intelligence lead, and present those insights to relevant teams and stakeholders.
  • Support and attend industry events to represent Motive and gather further market insight. 
What We're Looking For:
  • 3-5 years of experience in SaaS product marketing, or a split between product marketing and sales/solutions engineering. Experience working at a company with multiple product lines strongly preferred. 
  • Experience marketing to or selling to industries in the physical economy such as trucking, construction, and field services preferred, but not required. 
  • Strong writing skills and experience creating customer-value messaging and its associated marketing content. 
  • Solid track record of running successful marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

Pay Transparency
Your compensation may be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications. For certain roles, total compensation may include restricted stock units. The compensation range for this position will depend on where you reside. For this role, the compensation range is:

$88,000$134,000 USD
