Job Summary:
As a Director, Operations Strategy, you will play an integral role in developing operational solutions that improve the experience of LifeStance clinicians and patients across the country and further the mission of the organization. In this role, you will lead key strategic initiatives and serve as a thought partner and strategic leader to our Practice Operations team. You will work cross-functionally with Digital, People, Finance, Clinical Leadership & Shared Services to lead teams toward solving complex problems. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to support key initiatives across the organization on behalf of and in partnership with leaders from the Executive, Corporate and Shared Services teams to further critical business objectives.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Act as strategic thought partner to Ops Strategy leader and Practice Operations leaders; synthesize data, perform analyses, draw insights and facilitate translation of insights into proposed actions intended to drive enterprise performance against plan
Accountable for communication of operations strategy and key initiatives at scale; prepare presentations for a multitude of audiences, including executive leadership and leadership across Practice Operations, Corporate and Shared Services teams
Own change management and rollout of key national initiatives, ensuring consistency and accountability of relevant team members to achieve budget targets and ensure positive impact on P&L
Contribute to the long-term strategic objectives for Practice Operations
Partner in the development of Practice Operations KPIs, facilitate stakeholder buy-in, and collaborate with SMEs across LifeStance to deliver critical insights and drive progress against key initiatives
Lead quarterly strategy and planning sessions with regional leadership teams to further define strategic priorities that will positively impact P&L and/or improve operational efficiencies
Serve as an internal consultant on ad-hoc key business initiatives that emerge within Practice Operations and the broader enterprise (e.g., compensation strategy, operations response to risk and regulatory changes, etc.)
Serve as additional thought leadership and support to Operations VPs and Directors
Develop hypotheses, structure approach, and drive the work of multi-disciplinary teams (operators, support partners, corporate partners, etc.) to improve business operations and experience of clinicians, clients/patients, and team members
Proactively identify risks and issues that could impact the successful execution of business objectives; Elevate risks and issues for transparency and potential mitigation plans or options
Create decision making frameworks and content for options including cross functional pros and cons, risks and opportunities
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to synthesize information and communicate at the Executive audience level
Experience working on high level strategic frameworks and planning, yet able to dive into detailed workplans and solve complex issues
Business, operational, and financial acumen
Proven track record of influencing and problem solving with peers and key stakeholders team to gain alignment and collaborate
Proficient in Powerpoint design and project management, effective both in written and verbal communications and communication planning
Analytics skills – dive into data and reporting and understand the themes, diagnose potential root causes and recommend corrective/new actions
Demonstrated experience in organizational change management that includes interpersonal skills, agility, cultural sensitivity, and integrity
Strength in people management including coaching and development of individuals to support business performance and succession planning
Proven ability to work across teams and achieve results through engagement and influence
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role
Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
Experience working closely with C-Level and other senior executives required

Compensation: $140,000.00 – 170,000.00/annually, with additional annual bonus potential.
LifeStance provides the compensation range and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. LifeStance reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
